**Filed under Miscellaneous because there is no proper category for movie costumes**

My finished Alice petticoat to go with my Alice In Wonderland: Down The Rabbit Hole dress costume. This is made with 4 yards of silk taffeta. The body of the skirt is a full circle, and the bias hem/ruffle ended up being about 8.25 yards, to which I added horsehair for extra floof. I put piping at the waistband to break up the stripes there. It closes at the back with a few snaps.

I got the shoes from BootBarn.com (they're from Oak Tree Farms, called the "Veil" boot). They were all white so I had to dye the tip myself.
