Artist's Comments

Just a progress picture, since I've had requests to post them :)

I have most of my armor shaped and mounted and painted with a base coat of hammered silver. Now that it's mounted I can see that I want to trim some stuff since it's sitting rather close together. I also need to tweak the shaping on the chest since it pulls away from the body rather than hugging my shape. This will eventually be painted in a burgundy accented with golden yellow. The kama I threw on just to see what it looked like, it will be dyed burgundy eventually. It's a piece of suede leather.

Very nice! I haven't been willing to attempt Mandalorian outfits yet. I had enough trouble just doing jedi robes! He he he, but this looks very good. Awesome job so far.

Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.

Are you looking awesome? Why yes, yes you are. ^_^

I've got an open door policy. And an open airlock policy.

Don't wait for a tip.

Nice demonic eye glowing there. ;)

About the armor-- What material did you use? If you used what I think you used I might have a few tips for you, but since it's hard to tell the material from this picture, I shan't make any assumptions.

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior.

THANK YOU for not making big, round boobs in your armor. When I made mine, I did like you...just kinda made a gentle bump-out. Lookin' awesome and I can't wait to see it in person.

*takes another look at left field, wonders how so much cool stuff fits out there*

It looks great! I agree with Creeds, it looks a lot better the way you did it than how most people are doing it.

Just because God protects you doesn't mean you won't get sick after eating three bags of gummi bears in one sitting right after drinking four cans of Mountain Dew. You're getting sick no matter who you believe in then.

Hey, thats lookin' great!

Terribly annoying and incredibly boring.

Ha! Yes, I refused to do "bubble armor". It would just scream "She-Ra" if I did that ;)

BTW, I'm getting the idea that you've done a lot of costumes you've never posted!

You ever hear that cameras capture the soul? :mwahaha:

It's called Sintra. or plastic foam board. It's a plastic that when you heat it, it feels like foam and is pliable. Pretty neat stuff.
