Just a progress picture, since I've had requests to post them
 I have most of my armor shaped and mounted and painted with a base coat of hammered silver. Now that it's mounted I can see that I want to trim some stuff since it's sitting rather close together. I also need to tweak the shaping on the chest since it pulls away from the body rather than hugging my shape. This will eventually be painted in a burgundy accented with golden yellow. The kama I threw on just to see what it looked like, it will be dyed burgundy eventually. It's a piece of suede leather. |

About the armor-- What material did you use? If you used what I think you used I might have a few tips for you, but since it's hard to tell the material from this picture, I shan't make any assumptions.

It's called Sintra. or plastic foam board. It's a plastic that when you heat it, it feels like foam and is pliable. Pretty neat stuff.
