Irisa - Shirt

Here's a crappy messy-sewing-room-mirror-selfie of my Irisa shirt. Irisa is a character from the TV show (and video game) Defiance. I was lucky enough to stumble across the screen-accurate fabric while fabric shopping out of town. I have finished the shirt and have quite literally attacked it with a pair of scissors, trying to get the holes and slices in the same places as the screen-used shirt (but I can tell by inconsistencies that they made several of these shirts) and will be fuzzing them down and weathering them more. The pants I'm wearing in the picture won't be what I'm wearing with the costume.

I'm looking forward to getting this costume done. The show is based in St. Louis (though, of course, not actually shot here) and since I live in St. Louis it'll be quite fun to get pictures taken out by the Arch! Going to try and finish by St. Louis Comic Con in April 2014.
