Description
Here's a perfect example of making something old better.
This is one of my older and most popular deviations:
It is an Italian Renaissance gown I made in college (as of this writing, 10 years ago!), and actually one of the first costumes I made where I was satisfied enough with the quality years later. It was made with a linen chemise and an upholstery brocade from JoAnns.
I received Ravenclaw's Diadem for Christmas last year, and when a friend of mine made a gorgeous renaissance Helga Hufflepuff, I got the idea to bring out my old gown and transform it into Rowena. I used my Alice (In Wonderland) wig, and am holding my limited edition Tales of Beedle the Bard as a prop!

Not Stock Art, please don't use without permission.
***PLEASE NOTE: My work is not 'cosplay', it is costuming. Costuming is the art of creating costumes and designing a character look. 'Cosplay' is the activity of role playing while in costume, which not an activity I participate in, and is often confused for costuming.. Please only refer to my work as Costuming. Thank you for your understanding.***

Lovely. It looks similar to Danielle's mother's dress in "Ever after".
