WIP - White Witch Mail 2by ~Verdaera

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Costumes / Character & Theme

Here's my progress so far on my White Witch Battle Dress from the Chronicles of Narnia. I've been working on this over a year. I decided because of the scope of this project I wasn't going to set a deadline on myself and rush it, otherwise I'd only be able to do this one costume during the year, plus it requires a lot of prop work.
I made a couple decisions to change from the original to keep proportions. Tilda Swinton (the actress who plays Jadis) is 5'10" and I'm only 5'00". I have platform boots to wear with this that give me almost 4 more inches. I didn't have the belt go as far past the hips on mine because of how short it made me look. I have 4 out of 5 rectangular panels done (including the large one in the front) and 1 out of 5 triangular gores done. So far it weighs 4 lbs, 3 and 5/8 oz.
